The bigger pieces of plastics that were too big for the shredding machine, Mohammed cut in smaller pieces with a machete. Especially the big yellow jerrycans were difficult to cut at once. To stay out of the heat, he made a small tent out of old garbage bags.
Mohammed was the uncle of Sherriff, and spoke passionately about the Ghanaian and African system: "the African governments do not care about poor people, but you have family so you take a small job" was the reason for cutting the jerrycans.
