Waste heroes
Hero: “a person of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his or her brave deeds and noble qualities”
Everywhere and every day, we create waste. It keeps piling up. It goes to places that are unseen and it is being handled by people that we do not know. Their daily hard work remains unnoticed by us, which is not only unfair, it also leaves us unaware. It is time to see and recognize the efforts, struggles and bravery of those cleaning up our mess: the waste heroes.
This exhibition was authorized by Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.

"Plastic recycling has been a game-changer for me. Not only has it created a sustainable source of income for myself and thousands of others who otherwise would have been idling around, it also helps solving one of the biggest environmental problems.
This exhibition melts my heart because it goes a long way in showing the world and the sacrifices we are making with the little financial and technological resources at our disposal, to make the world a better place for all of us."
